Background Check Policy

It is Sycorr’s policy to investigate the backgrounds of all employees and vendors at the time of hire. In addition, Sycorr may conduct random checks to verify continued compliance of employees and vendors. All background investigations are conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), federal and state law. The following types of checks are completed:

  • Social Security Trace
  • Identity, Alias & Address History
  • Criminal Records (national and county)
  • Sex Offenders (national and state)
  • Domestic (US) Terrorist (national and state)
  • Employment Credit Report
  • Employer and Reference Verification
  • Professional License Verification *If applicable
  • Motor Vehicle *If applicable
  • Drug Test

All background check reports are retained electronically through a secured, Sycorr approved, third party vendor (GoodHire Inc). For information about our vendor or details about the reports please visit https://www.goodhire.com.
